Despite the best healthcare system in the world, elderly Canadians don't have a cohesive, user-friendly way to pull together what they need from the confusing web of available resources. Public information centres do an excellent job on a limited budget, but they must attempt to serve everyone; what's more, they usually provide just a listing with a phone number. That percentage of seniors who need individualized, specialized service inevitably fall between the cracks. That's where Complete Geriatric Care comes in. We don't replace any existing agencies or services: we help families make sense of them.

The most powerful tool available to you in locating services for your aging parent or spouse is information. However, pulling together all that information and designing a plan that includes all the needed resources is a full time job—especially for someone who isn't familiar with the system. We as immediate family are often too "close" to the situation to think clearly (in fact, when a Complete Geriatric Care professional needs to find care for a parent, he or she turns to a colleague for help—even a pro needs help if it's personal)! Complete Geriatric Care is an objective, third-party professional source of unbiased information on all services available to seniors: nursing homes, hospitals, Community Care Access Centres, homecare products, nursing agencies, and even movers and home repair.

Unlike publicly funded services, Complete Geriatric Care is a client-centred, one-stop service for seniors and their families. We don't make you fit into our procedures and rules; we make our procedures and rules fit your needs. You and your elderly parents won't have to deal with a dizzying array of faces, names and departments; you'll have one eldercare advisor, one number to call. Complete Geriatric Care has three divisions serving families: Complete Geriatric Care Advisory Services (eldercare advice and planning, formerly Complete Geriatric Care), ElderMoves (our complete relocation service for seniors who need extra help), and Complete Geriatric Care ElderHomes for the cognitively impaired.
