hy should you become a Member? What’s involved?

You don’t have to be a Member to attend our monthly breakfast, special events, or take advantage of the resources on our website. However, being a Member offers many benefits.

• Members get a discount of $5 off each monthly breakfast, a savings of up to $45 over the entire year.
  
• Members can opt for a web presence on this website in the network Members’ area.  A link to their existing web presence from The ElderConnection site is offered free of charge (we can maintain your web presence as well).  Rest assured, The ElderConnection is poised to bring about an aggressive internet marketing campaign.  Get in early!
  
• Members get a detailed listing in the printed member/annual.  The member/annual will be given to all members of The ElderConnection every year.
  
• Members receive a monthly mailing including our print newsletter, details on that month's breakfast, announcements (which Members receive first), and anything else we can think to throw in.
  
• For special events like half and full day seminars, Members enjoy a discount over non-Members.
  
• Some Members give group discounts to their fellow Members (e.g., insurance, travel, legal services)
  
• An opportunity to increase their business base through personal contacts made networking with individuals representing a multitude of services and products for the elderly.

Who Can Attend?

Anyone who has anything to do with older adults.  Many of the participants in The ElderConnection represent healthcare, government, law, family care-givers, financial planning and distributors of products and services for older people.

How to join

Your Membership is valid for 12 months from the day you join. We have two different Membership plans:

• Full Service Membership: $70/year ($50 seniors & students)
  **includes maintenance of your web page on The ElderConnection web site.
  
• Basic Membership: $50/year ($40 seniors & students)
  **web page presence not included.

When you are ready to join, you have 3 submission options:

1. By mail: print out our printer-friendly Membership application, fill it out and send it to us with payment.
2. By telephone: call us at (416) 444-7598, give us your information over the phone, and mail us a cheque or money order.
3. At the breakfast: fill out an application form at the registration desk and pay by cash, cheque or money order.

Included with Full Service Membership is a full web page dedicated to you on The ElderConnection web site. 

If you do not have a web page but have an internet connection, your internet service may include web page privileges that you haven't taken advantage of.  Our web site administrator, TOMA solutions can create a web page on The ElderConnection site for marketing (or otherwise!) purposes.  If you require something more elaborate for your corporate world wide web presence, TOMA solutions is capable of meeting your online needs at a reasonable cost (including Web Site Analysis, Design, Construction, Graphic and Logo Construction, Web Hosting and Email requirements).  Please contact TOMA solutions directly at info@TOMAsolutions.com or call Complete Geriatric Care staff at (416) 444-7598 for more information.
