Finding your way around the Elderconnection website

The Elderconnection website is divided into four major areas. Directly below are descriptions of these areas; following that, you’ll find the complete site map.

home/on site

Everything about the site itself (like this guide) ends up in this zone. We’ve also put in here the website of the eldercare company that operates the Elderconnection: Complete Geriatric Care. Lines and other visual elements in the home/on site area are red (except within Complete Geriatric Care, which sort of does its own thing in purple).

news

Here we have features and opinions on aging, caregiving, long term care policy, and business management. They’re submitted by you, the Elderconnection Member/networker/reader, and either will appear or have already appeared in our print newsletter, NetWork. Visual elements in the News zone are green.

network

Contains all information on our networking group: membership, our monthly breakfast, and other events. All of our Members’ pages are kept here. Visual elements are gold-coloured.

Here is where we keep our collection of links to Canadian resources directed at people over 55 and the people who help them. Although it’s small now, we’ll be adding links every day until we have the largest collection of such links on the Web. If lines and bullets look blue, you’re in the Links zone.
